The party was hosted by Neo Sports and BCCI at Hard Rock Cafe on Thursday, October 18. The entire Indian and Australian cricket team members attended. The Australian cricket team was presented stylish leather jackets by the Saawariya cast.
The party also announced the winner of the 'India's Greatest Cricket Fan Contest'. The winner, who received a full expense paid free trip to Paris for two, was picked on the spot from the finalists by the two captains -- Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Ricky Ponting.
During the party the film actors were supposed to ask the cricketers some questions. When Sonam Kapoor jokingly asked Yuvraj Singh, "You are often seen with socialites." Yuvraj promptly asked, “Who is with you tonight? What are you doing tonight?"
